Nelson Flores

My family moved to the Bronx in 77. I graduated from Brooklyn Tech back in 80' and destroyed some brain cells between 80' and 83'. I came to my senses (?) and I joined the Air force in 83' and was sent to Germany for 2 years and Florida for 2 years. I hated Germany, liked Florida but did not want to reenlist and I left in 87'. I worked security at the Grand Hyatt NY for 3 years and a friend suggested I take a police officer test in New Rochelle. I passed and became a cop in 91'. I soon transferred over to the Town of Mamaroneck Police Department (good money, quiet area) and took advantage of the fact I was the only Spanish speaking officer there. My son Alexander was also born in 91' so it was a big year. In 97' I became a Detective, which I really enjoyed. Around this time I met my wife, Gina, and we were married in 99'. She has two children from a previous marriage, Emily 11 and Jake 9 , who live with us here in Harrison, NY. In 2000, I was promoted to Patrol Sergeant and I am now looking forward to catching up with some old friends from the neighborhood.

P.S. I have all my hair ( a little grey, but I still have it)
