Well this picture actually comes with a story. I was on my way to meeting some of the afghan connections who were on our side when my partner at the time suggested I take a picture to send home to the family to show I was alive and well. We had just arrived a few days before this shot (sometime around late Sept) and I just wanted to get to work and do this damn thing. Afterwards I decided it was a good idea and took the picture. The barbwire you seee in the background was a constant reminder of where I was at and what I was there for. As you can see I kept my piece at my side...at all times! Well I did send this picture to my family. Little did I know I would be sending this picture to my other family. So enjoy and as you can see the hair is all gone so I should be hearing some laughter all the way here in California. It's cool. I fully expect to go back again with my remaining eighteen months left in the military. I gladly go back. Ain't no love for none of them.

P.S. The MP-5, semi-automatic, was in the SUV...I ain't no fool, these idiots obviously had no idea that I was born and raised in a war zone! Hope to see all of you when I get back home cause Cali ain't no home, just a temporary stopover.
